Thank You Trash Pickers!

We would like to send out a BIG Sunfield Area SPY salute to the following fine folks who helped out on our third and final Adopt-A-Highway trash pick-up of the season that was done recently, as well as some of the folks that took advantage of the option of participating earlier in the week:

Derek Desgranges

Dewie Miller

John & Sandy Fisher

Jeff & Betsy Gibbs

Job well done pickers!

· JoAnne Wilson and an Anonymous donor gave through the Frontstream Program at UPS.

· John & Sandra Fisher made contributions to the Scholarship Fund in memory of Sherri Davis, Gary Elliott, and John Ross. They also made a donation to the Dime Pitch Booth.

Parting Comments

• Deep Thought of the Week: It is not doing the thing we like to do, but liking the thing we have to do, that makes life blessed.

• Notable Quote: " Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little."---Edmund Burke

• That’s Puny Department: Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, but when they lit a fire in the craft, it sank-proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it, too.

• Did You Know Section: Did you know that movie star Paul Newman was kicked off the Kenyon College JV football team for brawling, and that movie star Robert Redford was kicked off the University of Colorado baseball team for drinking and missing practice?
