The SPY’s have many events throughout the year that provide a great opportunity for networking, community service, or just some fun with family and friends!
WILD GAME DINNER

Wild Game Dinner: Held in February, for over 20 years, this event is one of our most popular activities! Come enjoy a wonderful dinner and purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win a range of firearms, hunting accessories and many other outdoor items!

EUCHRE TOURNAMENT (AKA SHOWDOWN ON MAIN STREET)

Euchre Tournament: The Euchre Tournament, in it’s 38th year, is held the first Saturday in March at the Sunfield Community Rooms.
This evening of fun, friendly competition and great prizes, is something you won’t want to
miss.
TEXAS HOLD EM POKER TOURNAMENTS

Held three times a year, these tournaments are always fun to work at and create a great source of fundraising revenue for the SPY's.

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY

With pickups scheduled three times a year, there are ample opportunities for your children, or yourself, to secure some great community service hours and help out the community at the same time!
CENTENNIAL ACRES / SPY SHOOTOUT GOLF TOURNAMENT

For over 30 years, our yearly golf outing has always been an immensely popular activity! Held in June at Centennial Acres in Sunfield, there are plenty of opportunities to play - or volunteer!
FARMER'S PICNIC DIME PITCH BOOTH

One of our longest running events, the Dime Pitch Booth provides hours of fun for local kids during the picnic. We are always looking for donations of glassware and stuffed animals to continue to make this event a success!
SPY'S CHARITIES SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

For close to 50 years, this annual event is a big draw to the Farmer's Picnic. Whether you're playing or a spectator, you're sure to have a great time!
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE

For over 30 years the SPY's have been awarding scholarships to local graduating seniors. While the members of this committee meet just once a year, their job is crucial. Working together, the committee decides which awards and what amount which student is to receive.
CELEBRATION CALENDAR
Event Chairperson - Rosie Best
The SPY Community Celebration Calendar has been a part of the community for over 25 years. Corporate sponsors receive ad placement and members receive one annually at the Farmer's Picnic as a perk of thier membership.
COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS BASKET DISTRIBUTION
Event Chairperson - John Fisher
The Lakewood Community Council delivers Christmas baskets filled with food and gifts to a number of families that need a helping a hand during the holiday season. The SPY's provide a crew of fine folks to help with the delivery around the Sunfield area!
