The Wild Game Dinner 2025 Highlights
A tradition that began in 1995, this is one of our most popular fundraisers! Normally the first Saturday in February at the American Legion Hall in Charlotte, tickets sell out quickly. Enjoy a wonderful dinner and purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win a range of firearms, hunting accessories and so much more!
Oh, What A Night!
The SPY’s 29th Annual Wild Game Dinner / Sportsman’s Night held on Saturday night, February 8th. was truly an event to behold! The American Legion Hall in Charlotte was jam packed for this once again sold-out event. Pete Weller heads up this extravaganza and works extremely hard to make it a legendary success! Again, this year he instituted a number of clever and well-received innovations.
A Mega Ultra Stupendous Thank You!

What we believe to be, one of the important facets of the event-----the recognition of veterans. This year marked the fifth year that we have done this. All attending veterans were formally recognized, and the oldest veteran was given an extra special recognition. This year we had a tie for the oldest veteran in attendance recognition-----Bill Meyer and Paul Weber were the same age. They each received a United States flag which had been flown at the capital that was presented by our State Representative Gina Johnsen.
