Sportsman’s Night Mega Event Epilogue #1
The SPY’s 30th Annual Wild Game Dinner / Sportsman’s Night held on Saturday night, February 7th. was truly an event to behold! This year the event was moved to a new venue---the old Sunfield Elementary School Building that worked out extremely well. We had far less crowding, which was an exceptional benefit because of the record number of attendees that were part of this once again sold-out event. Pete Weller heads up this extravaganza, along with a top-notch crew consisting of Jim & Angie Frizzell; Paul Campbell; Hayden Klotz; and Rob Piercefield that worked extremely hard to make this a legendary success! Again, this year Pete instituted a number of clever and well-received innovations which we will cover in detail in future Newsletters.
In the next few SPY’s Community Newsletters we will be providing much, much more detailed information about the event---the multitude of various winners----details on donors and helpers---etc. etc. etc., so please stay tuned. But in this Newsletter we will do homage to the Major Donors / Sponsors that were responsible for making this event a tremendous success!
A Mega Ultra Stupendous Thank You!

Parting Comments
· Deep Thought of the Week: You learn nothing from life if you think you are right all the time.
· Notable Quote: “Why don’t the 99% of us who aren’t offended by everything quit catering to the 1% who are.”
· That's Puny Department: A lumberjack went in to a magic forest to cut a tree. Upon arrival he started to swing at the tree when it shouted, “Wait! I’m a talking tree!” The lumberjack grinned and said, “And you will dialogue.”
· Did You Know Section: Believe it or not, cotton candy was invented by a dentist. Dentist William Morrison and candy maker John C. Warton worked together to create the treat in 1897. They called it “fairy floss.” And it’s not as bad for you as you might think. Since cotton candy is mostly air, it has less sugar in it than other sugary counterparts.
