Fund-Raiser Canceled

We have just received word that the Texas Hold ‘Em fund-raiser we were scheduled to work next week, July 15th thru the 18th has been canceled again by the State of Michigan.  At this time we have no idea when they will resume.

Adopt-A-Highway Pick-up Date Reminder

The next Adopt-A-Highway trash pick-up of the season will take place on Saturday, July 25th.   Everyone interested in spiffing up a bit of our community is encouraged to participate.

We will meet at 9 AM in the Best Tax Service parking lot just West of the Sunfield blinker light.  If you need more information please call our project chairman Derek Desgranges at 269-838-7686.

Derek says if for any reason you can’t make it on Saturday, but would still like to help out by doing some picking up on a different day this week, just give him a call and get some bags and he will give you a small section to take care of.

Corn Hole Tournament Update

In our last Newsletter we gave you a “heads-up” about a Corn Hole Tournament that was going to be held on Saturday, July 25th, at Van Buren Park in Sunfield. We have since run down some more information in case you would like to participate.

The contact person is Roy Morris.  His phone number is 616-717-8792.

Cruz-In Coming To Town

There will be a “Hot Rods –N- Hot Dogs” Cruz-In that is being held in conjunction with the Farmer’s Picnic on Saturday, August 15th.  The fantastic classic rides will be assembled by the Water Tower over by Foltz Field between 1 PM til 3 PM.  Be sure to stop by and check things out.

Donations will be accepted for the Sunfield United Brethren Youth Group and the Farmer’s Picnic Fireworks Fund.

Parting Comments

· Something To Ponder: Stupidity knows no boundaries, but it knows a lot of people.

· Thoughts On Aging: I find these days that most of my conversations start out with: “Did I tell you this already? Or, What was I going to say?”
