Contribution Chris & Jill VanAntwerp made their annual donation to the SPY’s in memory of Chris’s father and mother (Fred & Mary VanAntwerp) and his brother (Alan). Thank you Chris & Jill for your continued support! Looking For A Little Help Here Texas Hold ’Em fundraiser is on the horizon, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to staff our chip sales activity in conjunction with the next Hold ‘Em event that is coming up starting on Wednesday, December 1st. through Saturday, December 4th. These Texas Hold ‘Em’s we work are a MAJOR source of funding for a whole variety of projects---programs---and activities the SPY’s support throughout the year and are critical to our financial success! If you have never worked one of these events, but would like to help out, there is absolutely nothing to fear! All that is involved is the selling of chips the players use in the game. That is all there is to it. The Hold ‘Em’s we work are held at the “Event Spot”, which is located across from the Lansing Mall, two doors down behind the Honey Baked Ham store on Saginaw Street. We have the following time slots that need to be filled: · Wednesday Dec. 1st. 2021 - (2) needed at 6:30 pm til 10:30 pm - (2) needed at 10:30 pm til close · Thursday Dec. 2nd. 2021 - (2) needed at 6:30 pm til 10:30 pm - (3) needed at 10:30 pm til close · Friday Dec. 3rd. 2021 - (2) needed at 11:30 am til 3 pm - (2) needed at 3 pm til 6 pm · Saturday Dec. 4th. 2021 - (2) needed at 11:30 am til 3 pm - (2) needed at 3 pm til 6 pm Jeff Gibbs has stepped up to take over coordinating things because our old event chairman Wendel Peabody is still ailing. So, please give Jeff a call and volunteer your time to help out on this critical event!
