 SPY’s Community Newsletter

(12/14/25)

Christmas Greetings !

The Sunfield Area Sponsors of Programs for Youth (SPY's) extend the warmest of Christmas greetings to all our friends and loyal readers out there in "Community Newsletter Land”.  May you all have a joyous Christmas and a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year!

Christmas Basket Distribution Report

This year we had a new distribution center to work with.  The roads were snowy and a bit dicey.  But, we got the job done last Saturday, December 13th. for the Sunfield, Mulliken, and Woodbury distribution areas of the Lakewood Community Council’s Christmas Baskets!  A sincere salute of appreciation goes out to a fine crew of helpers:

Buddy & Jari Collins

Mike Hanna

John & Sandra Fisher

Darrin Bosworth

Steve Sharp

Judy Thorp-Coon

Neena Kavolchik

Quinn Kavolchik

We would also like to mention that, in addition to the distribution help, the SPY’s recently made their annual $500 donation to the Christmas Basket program to assist in purchasing food items for the baskets.
