SPY’s Wild Game Dinner / Sportsman’s Night News
· This year’s BIG sold out event is coming up on Saturday, February 4th, at the Centennial Acres Golf & Banquet Center.
· Attention anyone who has contacted Pete Weller to reserve tickets and hasn’t paid for them yet, please be advised that you have until Wednesday, February 1st. at Noon to get them picked up or lose them.
· Also, attendees to the Wild Game Dinner / Sportsman’s Night, please be advised that there will be no outside alcohol allowed. There will be a cash bar at Centennial, so DON’T BYOB!
· This year’s event will be bigger than ever---prize wise! Currently, there is slated to be at least three levels of prize drawings, the ultimate of which will be “The High Roller Drawing”.
· The very last of the special Blackstone Griddles limited tickets will be available at the dinner. The Blackstone drawings will take place that night as well.
News From The Sunfield Summer Athletic Association (SSAA)
Do you have cleats, gloves, ball pants or bats with lots of life left? Save yourself a trip to the donation center or time on marketplace and bring them to the SSAA parent meeting on Monday, January 30th at the Sunfield Community Rooms! We are starting a “Sunfield Equipment Sharing Program” where you can donate/shop for these items at in-person sign ups, or as we get closer to this year’s season starting! Let's work together to help others!

for Food Preparation Staff
Centennial Acres Golf Course is currently seeking to hire personnel relating to food service and preparation for the upcoming 2023 golf season, as well as 2023 year-round special events. The work environment is fast-paced, with an atmosphere of high energy and fun.
Positions Available: Food Preparation Staff
Work Description: Food Preparation, Outdoor Grill Services, and General Kitchen Duties and Assistance.
Job Details & Requirements:
• Planning and preparing menus, and providing input on menus.
• Planning and preparing meals for large groups.
• Must have visionary skills to create food events as revenue sources.
• Must possess a positive work ethic, pleasant attitude, and ambitious self-starter.
• Must be able to work well with others and follow directions.
• Must be able to communicate and interact well with customers of all ages.
• Very busy workplace from April thru September with golf events and miscellaneous parties. November thru March turns into banquet services, brunches, and parties.
Hours: Part-time and full-time employment is available, with staffing needed for the full seven days of each week. Work schedule options can be flexible and based on employee requests and needs. Numerous work hours are available, if desired.
Pay Scale: Pay is based on experience and level of services applicant can provide, with opportunity for advancement.
Previous experience is not required, Centennial Acres will provide training.
Applicant must be 17 years of age to apply.
